Regional SEND Forum Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Regional SEND Forum.
The annual membership fee for the Regional SEND Forum gives you full access to all information and resources as well as to the discussion area.
The fee allows you to use the Forum for one year from the date you take up membership.
The annual membership fee will automatically be renewed unless when registering you indicated your wish for it not to do so.
You will be given the option to sign up to a weekly up-date email which will alert you to changes and additions to the Forum. You must notify us of any changes to your email address to ensure we are in touch with you through your preferred point of contact. Should you wish to cease the weekly email up-date you must inform us via the email contact address provided on the Forum.
Use of the discussion area comes with the expectation of the following professional behaviours:
Language must at all times be professional, respectful and without abuse or profanity.
An ethical stance must be taken when using the discussion forum and names of children or colleagues must NOT be used, nor should your school or setting be identified.
You should seek to use the discussion area as a platform for sharing good practice, asking questions, seeking views and solving problems in collaboration with others.
Any misuse of the discussion area will result in a warning and subsequent misuse will result in your membership of the Regional SEND Forum being discontinued. Should this happen, you will receive formal notification of the date from which your use of the Forum will be discontinued and no refund to the annual fee will be made.
The material hosted on this platform is drawn from national, regional and local sources. Use of the information is entirely gifted to you and we are not liable for any inaccuracies or errors, or for any consequences of using or sharing the information with others.
You are encouraged to contribute information to the Forum. All information on the Forum is subject to quality assurance using the following principles:
Information and resources are intended to inform, challenge, up-skill, develop new perspectives and broaden the thinking of professionals involved in the work of SEND in school and settings.
Ideas and research should be innovative and exciting. Their presence on the Forum is to open up discussion and broaden thinking mindful that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to SEND.
The Forum includes links to other websites. These links are there for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
Any difficulties or disputes arising from the use of the Forum will be subject to the website use laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
We will not share nor sell your personal details to any other organisation.
We will not send you specific advertising from any source. All information about national regional and/or local events will be made available through the medium of the Forum.
We will from time to time use the Forum to invite you to contribute views about national, regional or local initiatives or consultations. You may choose whether or not to participate and will not be put under pressure to do so.
